Our Programs & ServicesWe offer three main programs designed to get children started on the path to successful, healthy, and happy lives. In each of these programs, Learning Together provides individualized services to meet the developmental, educational, and social needs of each child, while also providing support and training opportunities for families. The Developmental Day Center was our first program established in 1969. We began as just a half day preschool program that included children with developmental delays. In these 41 years we have grown to become a five star developmental day center in Downtown Raleigh North Carolina. Community Program - The Community program provides individualized educational and therapy services as well as inclusive group learning and enrichment activities to children birth to three years of age with, or at risk for, developmental disabilities. It also serves children ages three to five years of age with preschool service. Child Mental Health Initiative - In January 2002, Learning Together began the Child Mental Health Initiative to provide comprehensive services to children ages birth to five years who have demonstrated serious social, emotional, behavioral and/or mental health concerns that have jeopardized their child care, family life, and future growth and development. In addition, the Initiative also offers BEST Buddiez playgroups for preschoolers to help them develop important social skills. |
