April 17, 2011:

Please take note that due to the severe weather and tornadoes that came through downtown Raleigh on Saturday, April 16, Learning Together is currently without power as are many thousands of individuals and companies across the heart of North Carolina.

With no electricity, daycare services have been canceled for Monday, April 18, 2011. We will continue to update families as we hear additional information about the return of power. We have currently heard that the return of power could take anywhere from 3-5 days.

All students enrolled at Learning Together through Wake County Public School Systems and SmartStart/More At Four are on Spring Break for the week of April 18 - April 22.

Learning Together is very fortunate that we did not suffer any structural damage. Trees and power lines are down throughout Chavis Park and neighboring streets.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause for families who receive services from Learning Together. Our thoughts and prayers go out to families across the state who have suffered damage and/or loss from this tragic storm.

Please stay tuned to our website for up to date information about closures and cancellations. You can also call the office's main phone line at 919.856.5200 for daily updates.

As always, we appreciate your support.
