Learning Together Building Renovation Update - July 8, 2011

Progress is being made at the Crosby Garfield Building that houses Learning Together, Wake County Youth Services, Telamon HeadStart, and Strengthening the Black Family!

Today is the last day that students attending our summer program will be placed in the classrooms on the HeadStart side of the building. Furniture and classroom materials are being moved back into Learning Together's classroom today.

On Monday, July 11 students and parents should enter through Door B and enter into Learning Together's side of the building to get to their classroom. Teachers will be in the classrooms to help lead you to the appropriate areas.

Please use caution when entering the buildings and walking through. There are still a few minor projects going on in the cafeteria, hallways, and lobby areas. The safety of our students, families, and staff is of most importance to us.

The next phase of the project will be the renovation of HeadStart's classrooms and offices on the first floor. The entire renovation is projected to be complete mid-August in time for the new school year!

Thank you for your patience and cooperation during this time. We look forward to showing off our new look late August!
